How to Draw simple geometric figures in Vectric Aspire 9 / VCarve 9
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to start drawing simple figures in Vectric Aspire and VCarve
All 2D drawing tools can be found at Drawing panel.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to draw simple figures like circle and rectangles.
The principle of drawing is very simple.
Just click on the icon of the tool. Let’s say on the Rectangle.
When Tool will active left panel will change and will show you parameters of the selected tool.
Click on the workspace and draw a rectangle. When you’ll draw rectangle will be visible as a dashed line. This is a preview of the rectangle as this rectangle in edit mode.
There is another way to create it. You can enter all details of the figure and then click on workspace once and Aspire will create a figure with parameters that you set.
Let’s take a look at the creation panel.
Here you can set origin point of the rectangle. By this way, you can easily control the position of the rectangle by entering coordinates. This is useful when you need to put rectangle to the exact place.
In the Corner type section, you can choose what type of corner you want to add. By default it is square but if you want to create smoothed corner then you can choose between two type of smoothed corners. Choose one of them and enter corner radius.
At last, you need to set the size of the rectangle.
By the way, if you already created some rectangle and want to change its parameters then you can hold SHIFT button and select rectangle. You’ll see that parameters in creation panel will change to selected rectangle parameters.
As you can see rectangle creation process is very simple.
Almost all simple figure creation process working in the same way. Every tool has it is own options but the principle is same.
